Fake Patty’s Day

Kite’s Grille and Bar is a staple in the Manhattan, KS Aggieville community. Aggieville is the six solid blocks of business district across from Kansas State University. It is mainly tailored towards college students so the influx of bars and clubs is heavy. A old boss of mine Rusty Wilson who has owned bars since 1989 asked me to help him with the largest party in the state “Fake St. Patty’s Day”. In 2007 the community started observing their own “St. Patty’s” the Saturday before March 17th. The event has turned into a massive gathering and I was asked to help him out with his social media at Kite’s for the event.

I had such a blast and we did so well that the local TV station interviewed me. I was asked to handle his traditional bikini contest called “Beauty on the Beach” which will be every Wednesday in April. So be on the lookout for that.

Here is the video and article of my interview on WIBW 13 with reporter Natalie Otto. Click Here.
